daily drip

1.
faint drip of yesterdays sorrow rolling off the roof
the newness of today thwarting its weight
raindrops fall on me and make time stand still
the honest out pour stirs my heart
gives me a new sense of wonder
are these tears from my Lord
the sun doesn't bend it never stops shining
will we choose to walk in the light of Gods love
until the brightness of heaven is fulfilled
will we see the drops of fresh melt on our windows
and see our reflection in His streams of Mercy

9} Surely his salvation is near those who fear him,

that his glory may dwell in our land.

¹⁰ Love and faithfulness meet together;
righteousness and peace kiss each other.

¹¹ Faithfulness springs forth from the earth,
and righteousness looks down from heaven.

¹² The LORD will indeed give what is good,
and our land will yield its harvest.

¹³ Righteousness goes before him
and prepares the way for his steps.
